Give me peace.
Peace of mind,
Another piece of my puzzle
and the strength to find its place.
Give me calm.
Silent oratories of comfort.
An umbrella of safety in a constant storm
and the endurance to hold it up.
Give me love.
A large hug for a squished soul.
The antidote for all things crushing
And the courage to trust the cure.
I will give you a woman
At peace with her surroundings.
A woman who is tranquil and unruffled.
a woman who is cherished and fulfilled.

It made me think of this Christmas hymn:
"What can I give Him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;
Yet what I can I give Him?
Give my heart."
~Christina Rossetti, "In the Bleak Midwinter"
