The poem is rough, but the feelings behind it are quite clear

She talks at me,
Bathed in a blue blazer.
Her enlarged pearls
jabbing my eyes.

I glaze over.
Surely she is educated
And her teeth invite me to join her.

But my shirt is green
and much more revealing.
My smile cannot last nearly as long
without cracking my face.

Am I supposed to aspire to this woman?
In every way I come up short.
In every way, I don't want to play.
And this makes me grin.

Just because she's in a leadership position in the Church doesn't mean you have to be exactly like her, or even that the Church wants you to be.
